A manufactured home is built entirely in a factory and then transported to the site. A modular home is built in sections in a factory and then assembled on site.  A mobile home features a steel chassis and would be fitted with wheels used in the transportation and set up process.  

We are a leisurely 1.5 mile stroll to historic downtown Pleasanton. Walk, cycle or drive and a charming downtown with shopping, dining and more awaits you. 

Pleasanton Hacienda is a pet friendly community.   Furry and feathered friends are welcome and pets will feel right at home here.  Our green belt walkways feature stations with pet waste collection bags for resident convenience.  For more information on the pet policy contact the park manager with any questions.  

We are a community for active adults 55 and over. 

For times when your home washer and dryer might be too busy, we have a self serve laundry-mat attached to the Pleasanton Hacienda clubhouse.  

Numerous transportation options exist in Pleasanton for commuters and seniors alike.  Some popular examples are:   Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) with two stations in Pleasanton. Altamont Commuter Express (ACE), Dial-a-Ride, County Connection, East Bay Paratransit, Wheels Municipal Bus, PACE via elders.org and Pleasanton Ride for Seniors to name a few.  

Shopping centers start just under one mile from Pleasanton Hacienda.   Pleasanton has ample shopping throughout the city including the major shopping centers of Stoneridge Mall and the San Francisco Premium Outlet mall.  

Grapes have been grown in the Pleasanton valley (tri-valley) as early as the 1830ies.   Settlers quickly discovered with the fertile soil and a Mediterranean weather climate that the area would be ideal for grape production.   

The area has 40+ wineries that range from boutique tasting rooms to full production wineries whose grapes are grown and bottled right here. 

Several local commercial wineries that started in the 1880ies are still producing wine to this day.
